Having served in the private sector for thirty years as President and COO of oil and natural gas exploration and production companies\, Dr. Agee has the unique combination of academic and private industry experience to administer\, teach\, design and implement new programs and speaker’s series in the energy field. In addition\, having served six years (2006-2011) on the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City\, Oklahoma City Branch\, the last three as its Chairman\, Dr. Agee has enormous contacts and resources in the banking industry\, and has taught Money & Banking at Oklahoma City University. \nDean Agee is President and COO of Agee Energy\, LLC\, a private oil and natural gas company in downtown Oklahoma City. Prior to forming his own company in 2006\, Dr. Agee served as President and COO of XAE Corporation\, a privately owned oil and gas company\, from 1982 to 2005; and as President and COO of Lee & Agee\, Inc.\, from 1988 to 2006. Dr. Agee joined the Oklahoma City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in March 2006. He concluded a six-year stint with the Fed in December 2011\, having served the last three years as Chairman of the Oklahoma City Branch Board. He has served on the Board of Directors for the following organizations and additionally served as President of each Board: The Economic Club of Oklahoma\, Oklahoma City Philharmonic Society\, Petroleum Club of Oklahoma City\, and the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board (OERB)\, the latter for which he served as Chairman for three years. Dr. Agee also served as Director and past Treasurer of the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association (OIPA). Dean Agee is currently a member of the Oklahoma City Economic Roundtable and serves on the following Boards of Directors/ Trustees: The Oklahoma City Philharmonic Foundation\, Allied Arts\, and the Oklahoma City Community Foundation (OCCF). DESCRIPTION:SOCIETY MEETING \n11:30am – 1pm \nTechnical Speaker + Lunch \nSpeaker: Paul Trimble \nBio: \nPaul Trimble is the Managing Member of Trimble Law Group\, PLLC\, which he founded in June 2020. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Oklahoma and is admitted to practice before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the Western\, Eastern\, and Northern Districts of Oklahoma. \nWith over 30 years of legal experience\, Paul’s practice focuses primarily on upstream oil and gas matters. In addition to his oil and gas litigation practice\, he has extensive experience supporting oil and gas companies with their day-to-day legal needs\, including drafting and negotiating a wide range of industry agreements such as purchase and sale agreements\, oil and gas leases\, assignments\, farmout agreements\, joint operating agreements\, surface use agreements\, and master service agreements. Prior to founding his own firm\, Paul spent 24 years at large regional firms and nearly six years as in-house counsel at a large oil and gas company\, managing its legal operations across the Mid-Continent area. \nPaul has also successfully mediated a number of oil and gas related cases and served as an expert witness in the areas of oil and gas transactions and disputes regarding title matters. \nIn addition to his legal practice\, Paul is dedicated to legal education. Since 2019\, he has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Law\, where he currently teaches Oil and Gas Practice. He previously taught Oil and Gas Law at OU Law from 2019 to 2022\, at Oklahoma City University School of Law from 2016 to 2019\, and taught both Oil and Gas Law and Energy Law at the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business from 2003 to 2014.

He attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with a B.B.A. degree in 1986 and a law degree in 1990. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar that same year. \nBefore joining Chesapeake in September of 2002\, Gipson worked for nine years as an attorney for the Oklahoma City law firm of Crowe & Dunvley. During his tenure at Crowe & Dunlvey\, Gipson’s practice was concentrated in the area of civil litigation\, with an emphasis on oil and gas and commercial litigation. Gipson also worked three years as an in-house attorney for the University of Oklahoma\, where he handled litigation filed by and against the University. \nGipson retired from Chesapeake in 2024 and is now in private practice handling primarily oil and gas related litigation.
