WASHINGTON, September 17, 2020 – The American Petroleum Institute (API) today released the fifth edition of API 2350, a key safety standard designed to help operators of oil storage facilities implement comprehensive overfill prevention systems (OPS), which ensure that oil and other products are transferred to storage tanks safely, without overfilling or mechanical damage.
