Speaker: Paul Trimble

Bio:

Paul Trimble is the Managing Member of Trimble Law Group, PLLC, which he founded in June 2020. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Oklahoma and is admitted to practice before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Eastern, and Northern Districts of Oklahoma.

With over 30 years of legal experience, Paul’s practice focuses primarily on upstream oil and gas matters. In addition to his oil and gas litigation practice, he has extensive experience supporting oil and gas companies with their day-to-day legal needs, including drafting and negotiating a wide range of industry agreements such as purchase and sale agreements, oil and gas leases, assignments, farmout agreements, joint operating agreements, surface use agreements, and master service agreements. Prior to founding his own firm, Paul spent 24 years at large regional firms and nearly six years as in-house counsel at a large oil and gas company, managing its legal operations across the Mid-Continent area.

Paul has also successfully mediated a number of oil and gas related cases and served as an expert witness in the areas of oil and gas transactions and disputes regarding title matters.

In addition to his legal practice, Paul is dedicated to legal education. Since 2019, he has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he currently teaches Oil and Gas Practice. He previously taught Oil and Gas Law at OU Law from 2019 to 2022, at Oklahoma City University School of Law from 2016 to 2019, and taught both Oil and Gas Law and Energy Law at the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business from 2003 to 2014.
